Among the 36 hospitals evaluated by Latam Business Conference (LBC), the Italian Hospital consolidated its leadership in the country and ranked 4th in Latin America.

The Italian Hospital of Buenos Aires received a score of 93.2 points, with a special mention for the use of information technologies and the ability to manage clinical data.

The Italian Hospital of Buenos Aires achieved first place in the country and fourth among the best hospitals in the region. With this position, it climbed three more spots compared to 2023, when it ranked 7th. Additionally, for the second consecutive year, it ranked first in Argentina, distinguishing it as a reference institution for national and international medicine.

What are the evaluation criteria

This ranking of public, private, and university health establishments in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, and Peru measures a series of requirements. Among them are patient safety, human talent, research, economic and hospital efficiency, patient experience, and environmental and social commitment. This year, Latam Business Conference emphasized how health entities integrate innovation, technology, and hospital management to transform the quality of services.

Considering these criteria, the Italian Hospital of Buenos Aires received a score of 93.2 points, with a special mention for the use of information technologies and the capacity for managing clinical data. In first place was Albert Einstein Hospital (Brazil), with 100 points; in second place, Santa Fe Foundation (Colombia), with 94.4; and Moinhos de Vento Hospital (Brazil), with 93.4.
