The City Express chain lands in Argentina with a hotel in Cataratas.
This is the first hotel of an international brand in the urban area of Puerto Iguazú
Gotel Hotel Management, a certified multi-brand hotel operator recognized by major international chains and with over 40 years in hotel and residence management, announces the arrival of the City Express brand, part of the Marriott International portfolio, to Argentina following the signing of the management contract for the first establishment of that chain in the country.
The hotel, which will operate just a few blocks from the center of Puerto Iguazú, will be the first hotel of an international brand in the urban area of the city closest to the fabulous Iguazú Falls.
“The Iguazú Falls are one of the great natural wonders of our country, and they have always attracted tourists from all over the world. However, like many other destinations in the country, it does not have much presence of international brands, and the few establishments of this type are located far from the city center,” says Sebastián Roces, General Director of Gotel. “Therefore, the arrival of City Express marks a milestone in the hotel offering of the city, and it is a demonstration of the world's interest in Argentina's tourist centers,” he adds.
As it is the conversion of an already operational establishment, which Gotel has managed for almost three years, the arrival of the brand will be quick. The establishment is expected to be fully integrated into the Marriott system by March of this year, and the adaptation to the brand is expected to be completed by June.

The hotel features 86 rooms and will offer its guests parking, a restaurant-bar, and a pool with a solarium. In addition to these services, it will provide stunning panoramic views of the Iguazú River and the Tancredo Neves International Bridge that connects Argentina with Brazil from all its spaces, creating a unique option for those who wish to enjoy a connection with nature without sacrificing the proximity and comfort of the city.
