Technology and Education: Ford Enter opens registrations for a new program on front-end development

The Ford Enter initiative opens registrations for a free Front End development program aimed at young people without prior training.

Ford Enter: free training in programming for those who don't know where to start

Ford Enter once again paves the way with a high-impact training proposal aimed at changing the reality of thousands of young people in Argentina. Without the need for prior studies or financial investment, this new free training in Front-End development directly aims to reduce the employment access gap in the technology sector.

The initiative is driven by Ford Argentina, Ford Philanthropy, Fundación Forge, and GlobalGiving, who together are relaunching the Ford Enter program in its 2025 edition, with a clear goal: to provide real opportunities to young people aged 18 to 24 who are currently neither studying nor working, and who could find a new beginning in technology.

A gateway to the digital world

The training program focuses on Front-End development, an essential field within today's technological ecosystem. This area is responsible for building the visual and functional parts of websites and applications, that is, what users see and interact with.

Unlike other programming courses that require prior knowledge, this proposal does not require technical experience. It is specially designed for those starting from scratch. The goal is that, upon completion, participants will be equipped to create and optimize professional web interfaces, from design to implementation.

During the course, key languages and technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React are taught, which are the pillars of modern web development. Additionally, complementary tools such as Git, SASS, and SEO techniques are trained, which enhance employability and prepare students to face the challenges of the current job market.

Comprehensive training and real support

The innovative aspect of this proposal lies not only in its technical focus but also in the human and professional support that students receive. In parallel to programming learning, young people participate in the Your Future program, a methodology created by Fundación Forge for the development of socio-emotional skills, essential in any work environment.

Through this module, students will learn to communicate effectively, work in teams, adapt to new situations, and manage their emotions under pressure. They will also build their CV, optimize their LinkedIn profile, practice mock job interviews, and receive guidance on real job search processes for six months.

This personalized support allows graduates to not only have technical skills but also the necessary tools to enter the workforce with confidence.

Virtual and cost-free modality

One of the most notable points of the Ford Enter 2025 program is its 100% virtual and free format, making it accessible to young people across the country, including those living in remote areas or who lack resources to travel or pay for private courses.

Classes are synchronous, meaning they take place in real-time with connected instructors. They are held three times a week and combine theory with intensive practice. Throughout the year of study, students participate in real projects, work collaboratively, and gain direct experience in the development of digital products.

The program has a total duration of 12 months, during which students receive tutoring, constant feedback, and the opportunity to interact with other young people in training.

A concrete job opportunity

What makes this educational proposal different is its direct focus on employment. Ford Enter does not stop at theory but prepares young people to take on real positions in the IT sector.

Upon graduation, participants will be ready to perform in roles such as:

  • Junior Front-End Developer
  • Web Coder
  • SPA Application Developer with React
  • UX/UI Assistant

These profiles are in high demand in the current market, as companies across all sectors need to improve their digital presence, optimize user experience, and launch online products quickly and efficiently. Knowledge in React, in particular, is one of the most sought after by companies, increasing the chances of immediate hiring.

Applications open until June 30

Those interested in participating can apply until June 30, 2025. The application process is conducted through the official site of Fundación Forge, where the basic requirements and necessary documentation are also detailed: https://fondationforge.org/ar-ford/tu-futuro

It is important to highlight that no prior experience or technical training is required to enter. The only requirement is to be between 18 and 24 years old, reside in Argentina, and not currently be working or pursuing formal studies.

A training model for the future

The educational proposal of Ford Enter responds to an urgent need: to train young people capable of adapting to a constantly transforming market. In a context where the digital economy is growing rapidly, but many people are left out due to lack of opportunities or access, this type of initiative can make a real difference.

From Ford Philanthropy, they explain that their mission is to empower people through education and innovation. “We believe that technological training is a tool for social transformation. We bet on programs that offer not only knowledge but also autonomy, employability, and future,” stated the organization.

The market analysis was key to the design of the bootcamp: a strong demand for young talent trained in technologies such as JavaScript and React was identified, skills that companies value for their immediate applicability. Thus, graduates of the program not only add value to organizations but do so from day one with concrete, scalable, and user-oriented solutions.

A commitment to education as a driver of change

For Ford, education represents much more than a stage of training: it is a transformative tool that allows for building a better future. In line with its global purpose —“to create a world where every person is free to move and pursue their dreams”— the company promotes such programs with a strong social commitment.

“We know that quality education is key to the sustainable development of people and communities,” stated the automaker. “That’s why we work with strategic allies like Fundación Forge, who share our vision and bring experience in supporting young people on their path to professional autonomy.”
