How to get to the beach with perfect hair

In this note, we give hair the place it deserves, as it is the undisputed hallmark of our external image.

Being baptized "Morocha" or "Rubia mireya" is a heavy burden for those who are fond of changes because a variation in dye could shake their identity.

That’s why experts have started to say that "even against their own business," it is not always advisable to abruptly change style.

"Hair is like an identity seal", says Diego Suarez, who leads the team of professionals at the hair salon that bears his name. He also commented that "the most critical part is always the coloring."

"Many times, girls come in wanting to go from dark brown to platinum radically, following the dizzying pace of the compulsive transformation of celebrities. We try to make them understand that it is preferable to do a progressive balayage with contrasts that give depth to the roots and a lot of brightness to the lengths rather than ending up with artificial, uniform, and lifeless hair."

"Today, more important than following the latest fashion trend is to be able to showcase healthy hair that approaches the natural tone, reflects light, and is not in tension with one's own features. In general, we listen to what clients ask us and we offer them a range of similar alternatives that respect their taste but with the guidance of our colorists."

For his part, David López -Hair Stylist at Diego Suárez hairdressers- revealed the techniques for coloring hair that are coming this summer:

The expert discussed the trends that are dominating this summer in terms of cuts, hairstyles, coloring, and accessories to achieve perfect beach hair.

Summer Colors

OMBRÉ or SOMBRÉ: As the word says in French, Shadow. It is the most natural style when it comes to coloring your hair as it involves creating a gradient in the lengths with a lighter tone on dark hair, which can be done in reddish, copper, or golden tones.

BALAYAGE: This is similar to Sombré but riskier as it creates a connection from the middle where it starts light all the way to the roots with some fine and soft highlights marking the sides and lighter bangs, very popular in gray, blonde, and pastel colors.

MElT HAIR: It is a mix of browns but always with a depth of a darker brown at the roots, but it never goes outside the range of brown and honey tones. It is the most chosen by women who do not want to constantly go to the salon to touch up their hair and is the most subtle.

Haircuts and Hairstyles for this Summer

LONG BOB: It is a fresh style with volume as it leaves hair just past the shoulders but with different lengths to give that natural touch and movement.

BEACH WAVES: It is a style of soft and broken waves that adds volume to the hair without losing length but does style the client.

Something more daring is to add braids or buns, and also accessories. That’s what the new fashion RINGS HAIR is about. Rings, charms, and even studs are added to the braids.
